The FX-700…A New Ultra Miniature Low Jitter Frequency Translator from Vectron International

Vectron International (VI) has introduced a new, ultra-small, low jitter,
frequency translator designed for a wide variety of frequency translation and
clock smoothing applications.
The FX-700 is a crystal-based frequency translator that provides superior jitter performance, high output frequencies and small package size. Output frequency ranges from 1 kHz to 77.76 MHz, with a supply voltage that can be either 3.3V or 5V. The device is hermetically sealed in a 16 pad ceramic SMD package, measuring only 5 x 7.5 x 2.0mm. The product's advanced custom ASIC technology results in a small, highly robust, reliable and predictable device, providing a more flexible option when real estate on the board is an issue. The small size and high performance of the FX-700 make it ideal for various applications in SONET/SDH/ATM, WDM, Digital Cross Connect, DSLAM, DSLAR, Access Nodes, Cable Modem Head Ends and GSM and CDMA Base Stations.
