June 24, 1999 - New Low Jitter Frequency Translation Device at 2488.32 MHz for Telecommunication
Applications
Vectron International has introduced a series of low jitter Frequency Translation Devices used in
Telecommunication applications.
The model FX070 frequency translator is a low noise, narrow band PLL that generates a 2488.32 MHz output derived from an external 12.96 MHz reference clock. The units have an output signal of 0 dBm minimum into 50 ohms and are available in a 16 pin, surface mountable, gull wing flatpack measuring 1" x 1" x 0.28". Supply voltage is 5.0 Vdc ±5%. Typical jitter is < 5ps at the output frequency. The device offers a drop solution for clock distribution in SONET/SDH, ATM and other telecommunication and data communication. The Vectron International group designs, manufactures and markets frequency generation and control products using the very latest techniques in both standard crystal and surface acoustic wave (SAW) based designs from DC to microwave frequencies. Products include crystals and crystal oscillators; SAW filters and components; and clock and data recovery products used in telecommunication and data communication applications. |
