ISO 14001 Certification
(Hudson, N.H.) - On July 14th, 1998. Vectron
International's (VI) Hudson, NH location was certified to be in full
accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental
Management System TUV Management Service of Danvers, MA was the auditing
group that presented VI-Hudson with the first ever certification for a
company that designs and manufactures frequency control products. VI
Hudson is only the fourth company in the State of New Hampshire to
become a certified Environmental Management System facility.
The scope of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System applies to
all of the manufacturing and support operations at VI Hudson. This
system enables Vectron to evaluate the effect its operation has on the
environment and to establish goals and objectives aimed at maintaining
the highest standards. The theme of continual environmental improvement
also applies to the use of natural resources with the goal of complying
with State and Federal regulations designed to protect the environment.
The Vectron international group designs, manufactures and markets
frequency generation and control products using the very latest
techniques in both standard crystal and surface acoustic wave (SAW)
based designs from DC to microwave frequencies With facilities located
in Norwalk. CT., Hudson, N.H., Olathe K.S., Neckarbischofsheim, Germany
and Teltow, Germany, the company manufacturers products which fulfill
critical functions in the telecommunications, data communications,
wireless, and multimedia markets in both consumer and industrial
applications worldwide.
