The FX-500… A New Low Jitter Frequency Translator from Vectron International

Vectron International (VI) has introduced a new low jitter frequency translator designed
to simplify a wide variety of frequency translation and clock smoothing applications.
The FX-500 is a complete crystal-based frequency translator, providing superior stability and jitter performance. The new product offers a flexible solution that reduces design time, increases circuit reliability and reduces board space. Output frequency ranges from 100 kHz to 77.76 MHz, with a supply voltage that can be either 3.3V or 5V. The device is hermetically sealed in an industry standard 6 pin J-lead ceramic SMD package measuring only 14.0 x 9.0 x 4.5 mm. The small size, versatile functionality and high performance of the FX-500 make it ideal for various applications in SONET/SDH/ATM, WDM, Digital Cross Connect, DSLAM, DSLAR, Access Nodes, Cable Modem Head End and Base Station (GSM, CDMA). Vectron International designs, manufactures and markets frequency generation and control products using the very latest techniques in both standard crystal and surface acoustic wave (SAW) based designs from DC to microwave frequencies. Products include crystals and crystal oscillators; SAW filters and components; and clock and data recovery products used in telecommunication and data communication applications. |
