The NAC1 utilizes the quantum physics principal of coherent population trapping (CPT) in a low power, small form factor, rubidium vapor cell to deliver aging rates of 1 ppb/year in a package that is one tenth the size of traditional rubidium, with an order of magnitude reduction in power consumption.
