Vectron International Announces Expanded Portfolio of Oscillators Suitable for Space Applications
Customer Demand Driving Need for HI–RELiability Versions of Filters, Clocks, VCXOs, TCXOs, and OCXOs
— Vectron International, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions, today announced from the 2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium the availability of space-level crystals which add to its existing HI–REL space portfolio of filters, clocks, VCXOs, TCXOs and OCXOs. Space qualified crystals are now available in 4-point mount TO-5 and TO-8 packages from 3 MHz to 200 MHz. Crystals utilize either AT or doubly rotated (IT and SC) cut crystals from fundamental frequencies to 7th overtones. These space-level products will provide customers with the same high-level quality crystals which Vectron utilizes in its own HI–REL designs for space. The company will showcase these new products in Booth 807 at the 2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, to be held June 9-11, 2009 in Boston, Mass.

The space-level products are manufactured in state-of-the-art cleanrooms and all testing and screening to MIL-PRF-3098 and MIL-PRF-55310 is performed internally. In-house assembly and testing allows Vectron to have tight controls on processes, traceability and schedule, while minimizing handling.
