Vectron International Expands Military Offerings with New QPL Approval for Class B Clocks

Latest M55310/30 Listing for Quality and Reliability Meets Customers Performance Demands, Reduces Associated Testing Time and Costs

MUNICH, GERMANY - Vectron International, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Precision Frequency Control and Timing Solutions, today announced its M55310⁄30 Class B crystal clock oscillators have been approved by the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) and are now included in the Qualified Products List (QPL). This qualification ensures Vectron's crystal clock oscillators meet the high quality and reliability levels required for military equipment.

The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) certifies suppliers for inclusion on the QPLs to indicate that the materials and processes used in production are approved for use on U.S. federal projects, saving the customer time and money by eliminating the need for any additional documentation or testing. Vectron's newest QPL listing ensures that it has demonstrated the ability to produce its Class B clocks to stringent DSCC requirements and is approved to make selected parts for federal, military or airframe applications.

Vectron's M55310⁄30 QPL-certified crystal oscillators are available in a frequency range of 450kHz to 85 MHz. Frequency stability is typically ±50ppm over the operating temperature range of –55° to 125°C. Typical military applications include communications, radar, intelligent munitions and missiles, avionics and satellites.

"Vectron has a 50–year history of providing military customers around the world with the best performing and highest quality QPL–qualified products," said Greg Smolka, vice president and general manager, Industrial, Military and Space Business Unit, Vectron. "This latest QPL approval confirms our commitment to not only supplying best–in–class offerings to our defense and aerospace customers but also to continually expanding our portfolio with products that meet their rigorous requirements."
